It seems many of our clients know someone who has declining health or is experiencing pain themselves. I just received word from one client who has a mother that is going into hospice now and another call about a dad who had a stroke. We have been able to assist in tangible ways for families that are limited in resources and offer prayer support. For example, last week a case worker told us his client lost her cane and we were able to replace it! The gentleman who had a stoke will get a hospital bed that was donated for his transition back home. Reach & Restore is a connecting point that fills urgent and daily needs at no charge demonstrating unconditional love. It’s only possible because of your support, our faithful volunteers and God’s help.
We will be helping multiple Ukrainian families who just arrived. They are overwhelmed as most had to leave their sons/husbands between the ages of 18-40 ( I believe) behind to fight in the war. Their stories are horrific. Please keep them in your prayers too.
Our current needs are dishes, sharp kitchen knives, baking pans, towels, queen blankets, large garbage bags and large shopping bags, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, basic cleaning supplies and men’s pants, athletic shorts, T shirts, white socks (all sizes) and adult pajamas.
