Reach & Restore is a non-profit ministry run exclusively by volunteers and dependent on support from the community, the church, and individuals like you. Because we are employee-free, we can devote all financial contributions toward the continuation and expansion of Reach & Restore.

Whether it be by furnishing an apartment for a family, or by providing clothing for growing children, each life will be given hope to move forward and receive prayer support by R&R volunteers.

As of September 25th, Reach & Restore is a 501c3!

The letter came much earlier than expected and now the “to do” list is in motion.  We are thankful for the many people on the crew who have contributed to this big leap of faith.

Our mission remains the same.  We will be working on updating our brochure etc.  Please keep the Board in your prayers as we make decisions together. It has been clear that God has provided and continues to open doors for us to grow.

We may have an option for a larger storage space!  This week may be the week we visit with the owner to negotiate.  

There have been some new referrals and it is clear that the Life Preserver role is what connects the  swimmers to lasting hope and encouragement to press on.

As the south begins to uncover the devastation of Hurricane Ike, we are reminded of Katrina and the start of Reach & Restore.  The next few weeks will bring similar needs in numbers that are hard to comprehend. We don’t know if our state will receive any victims of this storm, but please remember… as we have learned over the past three years, there are families here who are starting over for various reasons that we can reach out to.  God will use his hands and feet to show his love and provide hope to the weary.  Please keep Reach & Restore in your prayers as we begin another year of service… together.
